Ali & Daniil
Save the date!
We're getting married and would love to celebrate with you in Galicia.
Our wedding will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in the evening and night at Rectoral de Cobres 1729, just outside of Vigo.
We live in Santiago de Compostela, where optional welcome drinks will take place the night before on Wednesday, July 29.
Bus transportation to and from the wedding venue will be provided for all guests staying in Santiago on Thursday, July 30.
We will continue the celebrations over the weekend with some optional outings and activities, in case you wish to extend your stay in Galicia!
Getting there
We suggest traveling into one of the following cities:
Santiago de Compostela
Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ)
The closest and easiest major airport to where we live. From the airport you can reach Santiago by taxi or rental car, and there is also a convenient local bus to the city center every 30 minutes that costs €1 each way (only cash payment on board).
Santiago de Compostela – Daniel Castelao Train Station
Located in the heart of the city. Best option if traveling by train from Madrid (approximately 3.5 hours).
Vigo
Vigo Airport (VGO)
A smaller airport with fewer international flights, but the closest to the wedding location. Vigo is about 15 minutes by car from the venue and approximately one hour by car or train from Santiago de Compostela.
Porto
Porto Airport (OPO)
Often the best option for international flights. Porto Airport is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by car from the wedding venue and 2.5 by car or 3.5 by bus to Santiago de Compostela .
Where to stay
We recommend staying in Santiago de Compostela, as we will be there during the days before and after the wedding. Vigo is also a convenient option as it is a ~15 minute taxi ride from the venue.
Please note that our wedding venue, Rectoral de Cobres 1729, while also a hotel, is a small property and will not have rooms available for guests .
Below are a few hotel suggestions in Santiago. The historic center is compact and very walkable, especially around the Cathedral area.
