If you’re in Santiago the night before, please join us for some welcome drinks and bites to kick off the celebrations!

Thursday, July 30 | WEDDING DAY!

Location
Rectoral de Cobres 1729, 36142 Vilaboa, Pontevedra
Attire
Summer Chic / Formal (not black tie). To stay comfortable in the summer heat, we highly recommend breathable fabrics like linen suits or long, airy, flowy dresses. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the grass, so we strongly suggest wearing block heels, wedges, or flats.

Shuttle Departure

5:00 P.M.

If you’re staying in Santiago and plan to use our provided shuttles, they will depart promptly from R. da Rosa, 16, 15701 Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña.

We suggest being nearby 10–15 minutes before as they will depart on time. If you miss the shuttle, you may be able to find a taxi here.

Arrival

6:15 P.M.

Plan to arrive for a cocktail before we tie the knot!

Due to narrow streets, the shuttles will drop guests off at the bottom of the hill at Rectoral de Cobres, so there will be a short 3–5 minute walk up to the venue.

If you plan to rent a car and drive yourself rather than taking the shuttle, there is parking available directly on-site at the venue.

Ceremony

7:00 P.M.

The main event!

Cocktail Reception

8:00 P.M.

After the ceremony, dinner will be served. Please note this will be a fun, flowing cocktail-style reception rather than a formal seated banquet!

Dance Floor Opens

11:00 P.M.

Getting Back

12:00 A.M. / 3:00 A.M.

For those heading back to Santiago, we will have two scheduled shuttle departure times. The 12:00 A.M. shuttle will arrive around 1:00 A.M., and the 3:00 A.M. shuttle will arrive around 4:00 A.M.

Both will drop off at the exact same place as pickup in the Zona Nueva (R. da Rosa, 16, 15701 Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña), which is conveniently walkable to most central hotels.

If you prefer not to walk, we suggest downloading the Cabify app ahead of time or saving these local taxi numbers: Teletaxi: +34 981 94 33 33; Radio Taxi: +34 981 56 92 92.

Phone dispatchers and drivers may only speak Spanish. Because of this and the late hour, your absolute safest bet is to ask your hotel reception in advance to arrange a pre-scheduled pickup for you from the drop-off point.

Friday, July 31

Recovery Day

We’ll be taking a bigggg siesta the day after the wedding! If you’re looking for ideas on what to do in or around Santiago, check out our Travel tab.

Saturday, August 1

Picnic in the Park

Plans are TBD, but we’re thinking of hosting a big picnic in the park and heading to a local concert in the area!

Sunday, August 2

Viking Festival

We’ll be wrapping up the weekend by heading to Catoira for their annual Viking Festival and reenactment! It’s about a 30-minute drive from Santiago, but parking is quite difficult.

Instead, we highly suggest pre-ordering a taxi or taking the 20-minute train ride. Train tickets for August aren't available just yet, so we suggest checking the Renfe website closer to the date.

The festival is completely free to attend. We plan to get there around 10:30 A.M. and stay until 2:00 P.M. or 3:00 P.M. Viking attire is optional (but of course, much more fun!).
